3-DAY TOUR · SMALL GROUP · TAILOR-MADE
Ancient Wonders of Luxor
Luxor is the greatest concentration of ancient wonders on earth. In three days, without rushing, you will stand inside the largest religious complex ever built, walk among royal tombs, and watch the sun set over temples that have survived four thousand years. The perfect introduction to Egypt.
✔ Safe, vetted, and personally accompanied — from arrival to departure.
THE EXPERIENCE
Three days that will stay with you.
Luxor was ancient Thebes — the beating heart of one of the world's greatest civilisations. The East Bank alone contains Karnak Temple, the largest religious structure ever built by human hands. Cross the Nile to the West Bank and you are in the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs were buried in tombs of breathtaking beauty. Add Luxor Temple glowing at sunset and the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut carved into the cliff face — and three days feels absolutely full. Small group, slow pace, your own Egyptologist. This is what three days in Luxor should feel like
DAY BY DAY
Your itinerary.
A suggested journey — every detail can be adapted to your group's interests and pace.
1
Arrival in Luxor
Private airport transfer and hotel check-in. A gentle first evening — a walk to Luxor Temple as it lights up after dark. One of Egypt's most beautiful sights, and the perfect beginning to your journey.
2
Karnak & East Bank
A full morning devoted entirely to Karnak — the largest religious complex ever built, covering over 200 acres and constructed by generations of pharaohs over 1,500 years. Your Egyptologist will take you well beyond the tourist route: the Sacred Lake where priests purified themselves, the hidden chapels, and — for those drawn to it — the Sanctuary of Sekhmet, bookable privately for a truly rare experience. Afternoon free to explore Luxor's bazaar or rest.
✦
Optional: Private Sanctuary of Sekhmet
This sanctuary is now closed to the public and accessible only to small, pre-booked private groups. For those drawn to the more mystical side of ancient Egypt, this is an extraordinary and increasingly hard-to-find experience.
3
Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut & West Bank
Cross the Nile to the West Bank — Egypt's city of the dead, and one of its most extraordinary landscapes. Explore royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings, stand before the towering Colossi of Memnon, and visit the breathtaking mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, carved directly into the golden cliff face. Private transfer to the airport for departure as required.
